Description

Aspen Medical is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Construction Quality Manager. The position will oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control within our construction and renovation projects. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the construction process adheres to quality standards, specifications, regulations, and client expectations. The position will be responsible for managing quality control systems, conducting audits, performing inspections, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of construction and renovation quality are achieved.

The roles and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Quality Assurance and Control
    • Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes across construction projects.
    • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
    • Perform inspections, monitor construction activities, and verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
  • Audit and Reporting
    • Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards.
    • Prepare and present quality assurance reports to project stakeholders, highlighting risks and areas for improvement.
    • Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, test results, and quality performance metrics.
  • Team Leadership and Coordination
    • Lead and train the maintenance team to ensure adherence to best practices in construction and renovation quality management.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
    • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team and across the construction site.
  • Problem-Solving and Root Cause Analysis
    • Identify and address quality-related problems during the construction and renovation process, using root cause analysis to resolve issues promptly.
    • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure quality issues are resolved and do not reoccur.
  • Regulatory and Safety Compliance
    • Ensure all construction and renovation activities meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and safety and IPCO regulations.
    • Work closely with safety and IPCO teams to ensure that quality assurance efforts align with the site’s safety protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest quality management techniques, tools, and industry trends.
    • Recommend improvements to processes, materials, and construction techniques to optimize quality and efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience in construction quality management or a related role, preferably with experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction.
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
    • Previous experience in working in a quality control team and managing quality audits.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • In-depth knowledge of quality control systems, methodologies, and tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to work on construction sites, which may require standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
    • Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety protocols on-sit
