Description

Aspen Medical is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Warehouse, Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator. The role is responsible for the effective management and coordination of warehouse operations, inbound and outbound logistics, and end-to-end supply chain functions to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate delivery of goods and materials. This role ensures optimal inventory control, regulatory compliance, and efficient logistics in line with organizational policies.

The roles and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Supervise warehouse activities including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
  • Coordinate logistics and transportation for timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records through regular stocktakes.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Ensure all documentation (GRNs, dispatch notes, delivery records) is complete and accurate.
  • Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight companies, and internal departments to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
  • Track and trace shipments, resolve delays, and ensure timely distribution to end users.
  • Implement and monitor warehouse safety procedures and ensure compliance with WHS standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Support procurement with timely stock availability updates and movement records.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the warehouse layout and storage systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and logistics KPIs.
  • Supervise warehouse staff and support training and performance monitoring.
  • Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace and comply with instructions given in adhering to safe work procedures.
  • Take reasonable care to ensure own safety and health and that of others and to abide by our duty of care provided for in the OHS policy.
  • Any other reasonable duties delegated by management.

 

Experience and Qualifications Required

Essential

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics or supply chain coordination.
  • Experience in healthcare, FMCG, or institutional logistics is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Physically fit and familiar with safe manual handling practices.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a healthcare, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement and logistics compliance requirements.
