Description

Aspen Medical is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Media & Communications Officer. This role will support the business by developing and implementing communication, branding and PR strategies to promote its mission, vision, and goals, and to enhance its public image.

The roles and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling and consistent messaging across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and print.
  • Create engaging content, articles, videos, and graphics, that resonate with our target audience and communicate with clients when necessary.
  • Implement, and manage creative communication strategies to enhance brand awareness.
  • Build infographics and visual aids to simplify data
  • Monitor online engagement and track campaign performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for print and media production.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our PR efforts remain innovative and effective.
  • Assist in organizing events, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Take reasonable care to ensure own safety and health and that of others and to abide by our duty of care provided for in the OHS policy.
  • Any other reasonable duties delegated by management.

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing and Graphic design, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 year’s of experience in a similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of best practice marketing, emerging trends and principles with recent experience in their implementation.
  • Excellent computer skills with relevant Digital tools
  • Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills, including an understanding of cross-culture communication.
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and neutrality in managing work processes and problems.
  • A professional who demonstrates the highest values and ethical practice.
  • A team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and keen to learn.
