Description

Aspen Medical is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of the ​​Clinical Coder​. This position is responsible is responsible for the effective day to day operations, maintenance and repairs of all Plumbing works at the Hospital. This includes working with water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas pipelines to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety regulations. 

The roles and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment. 
  • Assemble, install, and test piping systems for water, gas, drainage, and heating. 
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, leaks, and blockages. 
  • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and fix potential issues. 
  • Replace faulty components such as valves, pipes, faucets, and pumps. 
  • Repair or replace water heaters, boilers, and other plumbing appliances. 
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. 
  • Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and working in confined spaces. 
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to workplace health and safety standards. 
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and issues identified. 
  • Provide reports on maintenance activities and suggest improvements to plumbing systems. 
  • Work closely with other tradespeople, contractors, and clients to complete projects efficiently. 
  • Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace and comply with instructions given in adhering to safe work procedures. 
  • Take reasonable care to ensure own safety and health and that of others and to abide by our duty of care provided for in the OHS policy.  
  • Any other reasonable duties delegated by management.  

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Trade Certificate qualification in Plumbing or equivalent 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Knowledge of working with tools for plumbing and experience with materials needed for maintenance, repairs, and installation 
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety at the workplace 
  • Knowledge of proper handling and maintenance of tools and working area including safety protocols. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines within a timeframe 
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal & written 
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize plumbing work schedule effectively 
  • Ability to identify and utilize resources effectively and responsibly 
  • Service oriented approach with a commitment to supporting the operational/corporate environment of the organization 
  • Knowledge of the Health Industry
