Description
Aspen Medical is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Training Coordinator.
Reporting to the Manager Learning & Development, the Training Coordinator, plays a central role in shaping our learning and development landscape
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Training & Development
- Conduct annual Training Needs Analysis to identify both short- and long-term development priorities.
- Implement and evaluate technical training inductions, assessments, and ongoing learning programs.
- Design, develop, and deliver training sessions for clinical and non-clinical teams.
- Assist in personal development training programs and culture initiatives.
Administration & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FNU Grant and Levy requirements, maintaining an achievement rate of 80% or above.
- Administer training documentation, including BTOR, behavioural assessments, reaction and learning forms, ensuring 100% accurate collection and record-keeping.
- Support FNU audits through variance reporting and proper documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date databases for Professional Development, Bond, Student & Attachment programs.
Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate logistics for all internal, external, and overseas trainings—venue setup, scheduling, materials, accommodation, and refreshments.
- Partner with operational leaders, Culture & Performance team, and clinical education teams to support training needs.
- Manage bookings, setup, and maintenance of training rooms and online training environments.
Stakeholder Support
- Build strong partnerships with leaders to support framework development, initiatives, and capability building.
- Assist in the rollout of quality improvement projects, organizational projects, Fiji Business Excellence Awards submissions and JCI standards
- Work closely with the OHS Officer on Occupational Health & Safety training.
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Degree in Human Resource Management & Business Administration or any other related field
- Holder of Trainer qualifications from a recognized institution
- Previous experience with working in Learning & Development
- Should have knowledge in FNU Levy and Grants Act and Audit process
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
- Experience providing full-scope training materials, from analyzing company needs to lesson planning, development and implementation
- Experience with Learning Management System and Pay Global
